What is a brand audit?
A brand audit is a detailed analysis of a your branding elements and strategies to assess your current effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. It helps you determine the strength of your brand together with its weaknesses or inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement and new developments.
It covers things like your brand identity (who you are), visual identity (what you look like), and your touchpoints (how you apply both to physical elements like your website, brochures, social media).

Research of your industry, target audience, and competitors. Why? It’s helpful to understand who the leaders of the industry are, where does your business sit within the market?
Understanding your identity, do you have a clear message? A consistent voice? Is it easy to understand who your target audience is?
Evaluation of the visual identity including assessing your current logo, colour palette, iconography/ photography/ illustrations and typography for coherence and alignment with brand values. These will be assessed for relevance, memorability, scalability and consistency.
Review of your online presence for consistency, responsiveness and adherence to your brand. What is your customer journey like? Is it seamless, or clunky? How are the CTA’s (call to actions) on your website, do they motivate a purchase?
